Crescenzio Sepe (born 2 June 1943) is an Italian Cardinal and Archbishop of Naples. He was Prefect of the Congregation for the Evangelization of Peoples until 20 May 2006. Earlier, he served as a priest in Italy and Brazil.

The Archbishop's Palace () is a building in Naples, Italy. It is the official residence of the Roman Catholic archbishop and cardinal of Naples (as of May, 2006 — Crescenzio Sepe). The building is located on the square "largo Donna Regina" one block north of the Cathedral of Naples directly across from the church of Donna Regina Nuova. The process for a miracle attributed to her commenced in 2004 and concluded its work in 2005 in which it collated witness testimonies and all available medical documentation and evidence. Pope Benedict XVI approved the healing to be a legitimate miracle on 17 December 2007 in a move that would allow for her beatification to take place. Cardinal Crescenzio Sepe presided over the beatification on the behalf of the pontiff on 1 June 2008 in the Naples Cathedral.

The third miracle required for his sainthood was also subject to a diocesan tribunal and shall conclude its work on 14 September 2015 in a Mass that Cardinal Crescenzio Sepe shall preside over to seal the boxes of documentation prior to sending them to the Congregation for the Causes of Saints for evaluation. The Congregation received the boxes of documentation from the process on 1 February 2016 which shall allow for the so-called "Roman Phase" of the process in which the miracle is placed under investigation to determine if the healing in question is indeed a miracle. The Congregation validated the diocesan process for the alleged miracle on 21 June 2016.
On August 23, 2003, Cardinal Crescenzio Sepe (head of the Vatican Congregation for the Evangelization of Peoples) arrived and consecrated Father Padilla as the first bishop of Mongolia, although the country is not yet a diocese. Pope John Paul II apologized for being unable to attend the opening himself, as he had been planning to visit Mongolia, a first for a pope. He had originally been invited by the President of Mongolia during his visit to the Vatican in 2000. There are now 54 missionaries from various countries helping to build up the church, and 3 functioning parishes. The flocking of Christian missionaries has been notable since the fall of communism, and Catholicism grew from no adherents in 1991 to over 600 in 2006, including about 350 native Mongolians.
