Speedknot Mobstaz are a hip hop group affiliated with Twista. They have released albums "Mobstability", and "". In 1994, they made their debut appearance on Twista's 2nd album, "Resurrection".
Mobstability is the debut album, released in 1998, by Chicago rap artists Twista, and the Speedknot Mobstaz, who are Liffy Stokes and Mayz. The album featured guest artists, Psycho Drama, Danny Boy, Christopher Williams, and Shock The World. The song "In Your World" appeared on the Dr. Dolittle soundtrack. The album has sold over 700,000 copies and was certified Gold by the RIAA.
Mobstability II: Nation Bizness is the second studio album by Chicago-based rappers Twista and his crew, the Speedknot Mobstaz (Liffy Stokes & Mayz). It was released May 27, 2008; featured guest appearances include Jim Jones, Mello Tha Gudda Mann and Toxic.
In 1998 Twista teamed with other Chicago area rappers to form the Speedknot Mobstaz. They released their first album, "Mobstability" produced entirely by The Legendary Traxster, in 1998. Twista then formed his own Legit Ballin' label, which released two compilation albums: "Legit Ballin'" in 1999 and "Legit Ballin' Vol. 2: Street Scriptures" in 2001. The label later released "Respect The Game, Vol. 3" in 2002 and "Volume 4: Tha Truth" in 2006. In 2000, Twista collaborated with Ruff Ryders and Drag-On on the "Ruff Ryders: Ryde or Die Vol. 2" album, on the track "Twisted Heat."
