Aahaa Enna Porutham is a 1997 Tamil comedy film directed by C. Ranganathan. The film features Ramki, Goundamani and Sanghavi in lead roles. The film, produced by K. Balu, had musical score by Vidyasagar and was released on 19 September 1997 to mixed reviews. Roshini made her debut as a playback singer through this film.
After the demise of her husband, she came back to acting. Her first acting initiative was a tele-serial by K.K. Rajeev called "Peythozhiyathe". Scenes from the film was parodied in Shiva starrer "Thamizh Padam" (2010), Ponnambalam who did the negative role in the original film had appeared as village chieftain in this film.
Ranganathan made three consecutive successful Tamil films between 1996 and 1997 with the Vijay-starrer "Coimbatore Mappillai", "Tata Birla" and "Aahaa Enna Porutham" all ending up as profitable ventures. By early 1998, he had started work on a new film titled "Indru Mudhal Happy" featuring Jayaram, Goundamani and Senthil in leading roles. By April 1998, the cast of the film was changed to include Pandiarajan and Preetha in the lead roles, though the film did not complete production. He then launched another project titled "Saamy Koduththa Varam" in August 1998, with Napolean, Vignesh and Preetha in the leading roles. Despite a grand launch event, the film did not finish production. Similarly the film, "Love Pannunga Sir" featuring Livingston, did not progress despite being announced in January 1999. In 2001, he began another project titled "Vandharu Jeicharu" which also failed to materialised.
