Rusty Malinoski is a professional wakeboarder, mostly known for being the first athlete to land a 1080 in a competition.  While Parks Bonifay and Danny Harf had both been recorded landing 1080s before, Malinoski was the first to do it during an official pro tour event. He is also the first wakeboarder to land a 1080 twice.  Over the years, Malinoski has earned the nickname "Bone crusher" because of his powerful riding style.  Malinoski won the Pro Men’s U.S. Pro-Am Championship in 2005 and has since always been a strong contenter.  As of 2012 Rusty Malinoski has finished every season in the top ten.  Malinoski has also been featured in many notable wakeboarding DVDs, examples include "Bent Felix", "The Butter Effect" and "Slick City".
James "Jaime" Lovett (born September 4, 1986) is a professional American surfer, skimboarder and wakeboarder. His forays into board sports began with surfing when he was 10 years old. Lovett went professional at age 14 which led him to compete and receive awards in many events. Lovett won his first event in 2004 by coming first in the Centurion World Wake Surfing Championships. In 2009, Lovett was a patient on Sex Rehab with Dr. Drew.
The configuration and positioning of the fins and bindings vary according to rider preference and are adjusted for a variety of reasons. A wakeboarder will change the type of fins used for different types of tricks. For example, shallow fins (which do not protrude into the water very far) are better for surface tricks, such as flat spins. Many newer board models contain small moulded fins on the board, allowing the rider to use smaller centre fins and also to create less drag.

It chronicles the story of Park's life, from his roots in water skiing and show skiing via his parents and grandparents, to his exploits, accomplishments and sheer dominance of the world of wakeboarding the past 12 years. He is also friends with pro wakeboarder Quinn Olson.
